I completed this project during my Erasmus at UMPRUM, in the graphic design and visual communication studio. It involved creating a visual identity for the classical music festival, Prague Spring.
For this, I focused on visualizing music from the perspective of emotions, feelings, and the beauty of music. I aimed to represent the imaginary and the intangible that we cannot see.
I used the old technique of marbling and applied sound beneath the water container, causing vibrations that were visualized through the water and paint. Then, I placed the paper on the water, capturing these visualizations.
These visualizations are the core of the visual identity, opening up different interpretations and allowing each person to bring their own perspective.
