The Pioneer plaque was a message sent to space with information about humans and Earth in hopes of making contact with extraterrestrial life. However, the original design has been criticized for being too human-centric and not inclusive of the diverse life on Earth. This project proposes a redesign of the Pioneer plaque with a more inclusive and representative depiction of life on Earth.
For this project, I explored and explained the human body in three different ways: through its various systems such as muscular, circulatory, etc.; through diagrams of the three most common elements found in the body; and through precise numerical representations of these elements in binary code.
